BLACK SABBATH's Biography From Roadcrew's Point Of View Has 'Exceeded' Sales Expecations

David Tangye, Ozzy Osbourne's assistant during the early BLACK SABBATH years, has told NewsAndStar.co.uk that his book about BLACK SABBATH, "How Black Was Our Sabbath", co-written with another roadie, Graham Wright, "has well and truly exceeded our expectations in sales both in the U.K. and overseas. The response that I have received by email via my web site — www.blacksabbath.co.uk — from every corner of the world has been truly remarkable, and just goes to show the interest in all things BLACK SABBATH is probably stronger now than ever it was."

A timely look at one of the most successful rock bands ever, "How Black Was Our Sabbath" is scheduled to come out in paperback this week.

Many of the book's stories focus on Ozzy, from his obsession with guns and shooting things to his amazing capacity for alcohol. Dave recalls pouring cider over Ozzy's flaming flares after the singer fell asleep by the fire.
